104 Nigerians Repatriated from Algeria- NEMA
In a continued effort to support stranded migrants, 104 Nigerians were repatriated from Algeria on June 30, 2025, under the Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) program coordinated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with Nigerian authorities.
The returnees were received at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, by officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other relevant stakeholders.
Upon arrival, the returnee, comprising men, women, and children underwent proper registration and received essential support services including food, medical care, and transport assistance to help them reach their respective destinations.
