CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, political associates, and the entire All Progressives Congress (APC) family on the passing of Chief Mrs. Yetunde Shakirat Adesanya, the APC South-West Women Leader.
The news of her transition is not only painful but also a monumental loss to the progressive family in the South-West and Nigeria at large. Chief Mrs. Adesanya was a rare political amazon, a grassroots mobilizer of exceptional capacity, and a relentless advocate for the advancement of women in politics and governance. Her unwavering commitment to party development, grassroots engagement, and political inclusiveness earned her admiration across generations.
Today, we have lost a courageous soldier of democracy, a dependable political mother, and a bridge builder whose influence transcended political boundaries. Her wisdom, dedication, and selfless service will remain an enduring reference point for all who had the privilege of working with her.
Though her voice may be silent, the legacies she built, the lives she touched, and the political structures she strengthened will continue to speak for generations to come.
As we mourn this painful departure, we pray that Almighty God grants her eternal rest and gives her family, loved ones, and the APC family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
