Peller Claims He Lost $15,000 After US Visa Application Was Denied

Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat has opened up about his frustrating experience applying for a United States visa, claiming that he spent about $15,000 on the process before his application was denied.

In a statement shared on July 18, 2026, Peller said he was not refunded after the visa refusal and vowed not to apply for a US visa again. He jokingly offered to pay someone $20,000 to handle the process for him if the person could secure approval.

“I did American visa for $15K, I got denied and not refunded. I’m not doing an American visa again. Somebody should do it for me; when they approve it, I’ll pay them $20K,” he said.

His comments come amid increasing concerns among some Nigerians and other international creators over the challenges involved in securing US visas. Fellow content creator Carter Efe also recently missed an opportunity to attend Kai Cenat’s Streamers University after reportedly experiencing delays with his visa application.
