Asimi, the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikenne Local Government, made this statement after completing the screening process at the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) office in Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta. He emphasized that his manifesto includes projects aimed at benefiting the community and ensuring the welfare of its residents throughout his tenure as chairman.

Reflecting on the screening process, Asimi commended OGSIEC for its dedication to organizing a free, fair, and credible election.
