The National Opposition Coalition Group, spearheaded by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has officially submitted an application to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the registration of a new political party called the All Democratic Alliance (ADA).
The application marks a significant political development as Nigeria heads toward the 2027 general elections, with key opposition figures seeking to reshape the political landscape and present a united front against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
