Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has revealed his growing desire to start a family as he marked his 34th birthday. Speaking at a gathering in Lagos, the Grammy award-winning artist candidly admitted, “I’m getting old, I need to start having children,” signaling a potential shift in his once-public hesitation toward fatherhood.

The singer, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, attributed his change of heart to a conversation with wealthy Nigerian businessman, Jowizaza. “I come dey old oh, I for begin born pikins,” Burna Boy said in Pidgin, expressing his newfound realization that time might be right to begin a family of his own.

This marks a departure from his earlier stance in May 2024, when he declared he wasn't ready for children until he could fully devote time and care to them. Fans are now speculating whether this personal revelation will influence his lifestyle, music, or public persona in the near future.
