Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, son of the late former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, has officially tied the knot with his bride, Maryam Ayuba Shuaibu, in a grand celebration held in the nation’s capital.

The Nikkah ceremony took place on Friday at the prestigious National Mosque, Abuja, drawing in prominent dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers from across the country.

The wedding festivities continued on Saturday with an elegant dinner reception at the Thisday Dome, Abuja, where guests were treated to music, fine dining, and celebration in honour of the newlyweds.

The union has been described as a blend of legacy and love, as the groom is the son of one of Nigeria’s most respected former leaders, who served as president from 2007 until his passing in 2010.
