Assembly Summons 2Baba’s Wife, Natasha Osawaru

The Edo State House of Assembly has summoned Hon. Natasha Osawaru wife of music star 2Baba and lawmaker representing Egor Constituency over allegations of misconduct that have reportedly dragged the reputation of the House into disrepute.

During plenary on Tuesday, December 2, Speaker Blessing Agbebaku said the Assembly had been “trending negatively” for days due to widespread online reports of a public altercation involving Natasha and her husband in London—an incident that allegedly led to 2Baba’s brief arrest.

The Assembly has directed Natasha to appear before its Committee on Ethics and Privileges within one week to address the allegations and explain why disciplinary measures should not be taken against her.

The committee is expected to present its findings to the House within two weeks.
