Hon. Ayodeji Dada, Honorable Councilor Representing Ward 7, Remo North Legislative Council announces Free Eye Screening and Eyeglasses Distribution for Residents of Ward 7 Ipara Remo and it's environ.

Hon. Ayodeji Dada, Honorable Councilor representing Ward 7, Remo-North Local Government is proud to announce a day community-wide health outreach program titled “ Vision First Initiative ”.

This initiative will provide free professional eye screenings, consultations, and prescription of eyeglasses to residents of Ipara Remo.

Recognizing that vision health is a critical component of overall well-being and productivity, the Councilor has facilitated this outreach to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent residents from accessing essential eye care. This program is an initiative our dear  President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu , tagged Jigi Bola , which aims to expand effective refractive error coverage across the country.

 “Good vision is essential for our children’s education and our adults' livelihoods,” said Hon. Ayodeji. “By bringing these services directly to our community, we are ensuring that every resident, regardless of their financial status, has the opportunity to see clearly and live a more fulfilling life”.

 The event will offer several key medical services, including:

• Comprehensive Eye Screenings: Conducted by licensed optometrists.

• Free Eyeglasses Prescription : Free eye glasses will be provided to those identified with refractive errors.

• Referrals : Guidance for those requiring specialized care or surgeries, such as cataract treatments.
