Ward 5 Speaks with One Voice: Hon. Monsuru Osho Adopted as Consensus Candidate



In a significant demonstration of unity, consultation, and grassroots democracy, leaders, stakeholders, executives, youth representatives, and members of APC Ward 5, Iperu Remo, under the umbrella of PBAT @ Grassroots Connect, have unanimously adopted Hon. Monsuru Osho (Oshopey) as the consensus candidate for the forthcoming by-election to fill the vacant position of Councillor representing Ward 5 in Ikenne Local Government.

The decision followed a series of consultations among party leaders and stakeholders who agreed that Hon. Monsuru Osho possesses the experience, loyalty, capacity, and commitment required to effectively represent the interests of Ward 5 at the local government legislative level.

Party leaders described the adoption as a collective decision reached in the overall interest of APC and the people of Iperu Remo. They noted that Hon. Osho has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication to the party and has remained a dependable grassroots mobilizer over the years. His willingness to make sacrifices for the unity and progress of the party, including previous political engagements, was also acknowledged by stakeholders.

Speaking on behalf of the leaders, members reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining the peace, unity, and stability that have characterized APC activities in Ward 5.
