South-South APC Endorses Tinubu, Governors for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South geo-political zone has endorsed Presiden Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party's governors from the zone as sole candidates for the 2027 general elections. The endorsement was made at a stakeholders' meeting held in Benin, Edo State.

APC stakeholders in the South-South zone have expressed confidence in Tinubu's leadership and Renewed Hope Agenda.

Delta state Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and other governors from the South-South zone have been endorsed as sole candidates for the 2027 elections.

The stakeholders passed a vote of confidence in the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and members of the zonal working committee. They also commended the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, for his support for the Tinubu administration.

Nigerian Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio highlighted the achievements of President Tinubu's administration, including the Coastal Highway Project, rehabilitation of the East-West road, and revival of the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri Railway line.

 He emphasized that the South-South zone is no longer an afterthought in national development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Akpabio urged the South-South APC stakeholders to rally behind President Tinubu and support his re-election bid in 2027. He emphasized the need for unity, strategy, and grassroots engagement to secure a better future for the region.
