Wike: Tinubu ICC Generates ₦700m in Three Weeks, Surpasses Previous Annual Revenue
Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has revealed that the newly refurbished Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja generated over ₦700 million in just three weeks. This comes as a sharp contrast to the ₦50 million annual income recorded under the facility’s previous management.
Speaking at a church service in Abuja, Wike praised President Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the dramatic revenue boost shows the benefits of efficient infrastructure renewal. He added that the centre, which underwent a ₦39 billion facelift, is already fully booked through 2027.
The FCT Minister emphasized that the new performance of the ICC proves critics wrong, particularly those who failed to deliver while in power. He described the refurbished centre as a strategic investment that will continually boost the capital’s revenue and tourism prospects.
