The fight, initially backed by music executive Soso Soberekon, had a N50 million offer attached to it. Portable, however, described the amount as insufficient and insisted he would only step into the ring if the stakes were higher.
In his latest comments, the singer disclosed that Soso Soberekon’s contribution was ₦40 million, while businessman E-Money reportedly added ₦50 million and promised a car should Portable defeat Carter Efe.
“I’ve already received ₦40 million from the organizers of my fight with Carter Efe. Soso Soberekon offered me ₦50 million, and E-money offered ₦50 million plus a car if I beat him.”, he said.
