The APC Candidate for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Hon. Olufunmilayo Efuwape (FAECO), on Friday, September 4, 2026, received a delegation of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) from across the Remo Constituency at her campaign office in Sagamu.

The delegation, led by the Ogun State Women Leader, Mrs. Grace Omowunmi, paid the courtesy visit to congratulate Hon. Efuwape on her emergence as the party's candidate and to formally express their solidarity, support and willingness to work with her ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mrs. Omowunmi commended FAECO for her longstanding relationship with and commitment to the PWD community. She noted that her support and accessibility to Persons With Disabilities existed long before her emergence as the APC candidate.

She expressed confidence in Hon. Efuwape's ability to provide effective grassroots representation and champion legislation that will positively impact the people of the constituency. She further pledged the support of the PWD community for FAECO and other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

Responding, Hon. Efuwape expressed appreciation to the delegation for their visit, solidarity and confidence in her candidacy. She emphasized that her campaign vision, “Ijoba Ajumose,” represents a government built on inclusion, participation, unity and shared prosperity.

According to her, true representation must be people centred and must give every segment of society the opportunity to be heard, valued and meaningfully represented. She reaffirmed that Persons With Disabilities remain an important part of the constituency and assured them of her continued support and partnership.

Hon. Efuwape stressed that her aspiration is to build a constituency where every voice matters, every individual counts, and no community is left behind.

The engagement further reinforced the growing commitment towards inclusive leadership, stronger community participation and people oriented representation ahead of the 2027 elections.
